OET Pokhara

OET stands for Occupational English Test. OET is a global assessment of English language proficiency that evaluates a healthcare professional’s ability to communicate in English to register and work in an English-speaking setting. Urja lab in Pokhara has started the OET classes for medical professionals. There are four types of language skills with a focus on communication in a medical environment, and they are:

  • Listening : All healthcare professionals cover the identical content
  • Reading : A range of literature on health-related subjects should be read and understood
  • Writing : Specialized in a career and based on typical office scenarios
  • Speaking : Specialized in a career and based on regular office surroundings

OET facilitates these four language skills for an individual who prefers to work in an English environment. The Occupational English Test (often referred to as OET) is an international English language exam for the healthcare industry. It evaluates the linguistic communication abilities of medical professionals who want to register and work in a country where English is the primary language. The candidates are given some role-plays where they must talk and have preparation time for them. During the preparation period, the candidate may raise any questions; nevertheless, a variety of role plays must be performed later.
