The Startup mentorship programme II

Urja Lab organized “The Startup mentorship programme II” from 29th of july 2020 to 8th of august 2020, taking aspiring and enthusiastic teams of ten from all around Nepal with the aim to accelerate the growth of startups and emerging brand owners. During the 1-week program, participants met the most targeted mentors, investors, and partners while also attending virtual workshops and mentoring sessions to pave the way for a successful startup.

Through the programme, startups and emerging brands gained access to guidance from venture capital firms, industry veterans and successful entrepreneurs through expert knowledge sharing sessions, networking events and 1:1 mentorship sessions.

(Hult Prize Nepal Community, NYEF, NITEC, Veda, Worckhub, Interns Tolearn.com, Green Road Waste Management, Swiss International Hotel Sarowar, Food Mood, Resham, Ek Call Home Solution, Topi Studios, Ingrails, foodmood pokhara, Gyanhub) One of the major takeaways by the participants was getting clarity of their business ideas, how their raw ideas were polished to bring the best out of it so that they convey excellent value in the market. Another major advantage the participants acquired was an opportunity to build and enlarge strong networking.

Side by side participants also benefited skills development, guidance, inspiration and overall having someone to rely on in the long run. And hence, Urja Lab through this programme offers entrepreneurs a platform to engage, learn and showcase their startups to the industry’s leading subject matter experts to help tackle strategic and functional challenges.
